Philadelphia - Day One

A few weeks ago, Jeff's aunt invited us to join her in Philadelphia because she was going to be there for a convention. Since it was only 3 1/2 hours away, we decided to take a mini vacation and meet her there. Before meeting up with her, we went to a children's museum called Please Touch. It's an awesome museum for kids because everything is hands on.

Egan and Kalia both LOVED the River Adventure exhibit. It's a "river" where kids can race or play with sailboat, rubber ducks, and water toys. There are different areas of the river where you can make waves or bubbles as well.
Splashing and playing with water toys.

Putting the water toy under the water spigot that was coming off of the boat.

Egan also really enjoyed The Three Bears' house. He kept going back in the house even though we were playing in the musical rainforest.

Pretending to be sleeping.

Sitting in baby bear's chair.

Setting out plates and cups for the three bears.

One of Jeff's favorite exhibit was the grocery store.

Getting his shopping cart.

I would like one of those, please.

He was also the cashier!

Kalia had fun too. She's a little too young to fully enjoy the museum but was able to play and crawl around.

She can pull herself up now.

Driving already!

Just chillin.

It was such a fun day! Egan did not want to leave at all (we tried leaving several times) and was crying. I felt really bad for cutting his fun short because he NEVER fusses when we leave anywhere even if he is still in the middle of playing. We usually tell him to say bye-bye to the toy, playground, etc and he'll leave right away but not this time. Since we don't live too far away, we will definitely be back!

  1. That looks so perfect and so fun! no wonder he didn't want to leave. Kalia looks just like you Sai, ha ha. Such a pretty little girl like her mamma. Sure wish we could come with you to that neat museum. Miss you all so much! even Jeff's pizza dough.
